Heels of the outlaws

Sherwood Forest was the home to one of the most beloved legends in England, Robin Hood – actually a great numbers of people from all over the world are visiting every year this location – for feeling these mystical stories so close as possible – 1000 year later.

These about 1,100 acres were once part of a much larger royal soil property established by the Normans in the 10th century – these wooded hills, conveniently located in the middle third of the UK’s main island – relative close to both London, Birmingham and Liverpool / Manchester – today serve as country parks, a nature reserve, private homes, and as a tribute to their historic and literary legend.

The trip through the woods last summer mountain biking – was very exciting
the only thing missing was Robin Hood, Little John or one of the other outlaws
alive and not just a lifelike statue.
