Approachability

009

To arrive to a city by sea is often a very great experience
in a way the strangers often is shown much more approachability
okay if the ship doesn’t hit into the pier or in some of the other boats, so not.

A ship in port is safe, but that’s not what ships are built for
(Grace Hopper – american scientist

If the highest aim of a captain were to preserve his ship,
he would keep it in port forever
(Thomas Aquinas – italian theologian)

If a man doesn’t know what port he is steering for,
no wind is favorable to him

Companionable, or not

005

Companionable north atlantic coast or not.
…..
Sometimes companionableness may be a compromise or a dilemma to many
in many areas in the social sphere – “you give something to get something”.
so you’re companionable – aren’t you..?
…..
Some may feel that it gives too little self-respect to be too companionable
therefore they become slightly contrarian or may seek solitude to get peace
without having to worry about what others might think ..?
…..

I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time
to be in company, even with the best
is soon wearisome and dissipating
I love to be alone
I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude
( Henry David Thoreau – american writer and philosopher)

Truth and colored imagination

001

The stones which are placed on the shoreline as protection
they can take on many exciting colors over time
once met a pensive little child there – who asked if I knew the reason for this
…..
So did the child who claimed
that the red color is caused by corrosion due to the salt in the water
while the green color due to the connection between
the yellow sun and the blue sea
long live the great imagination, because without the world be black and white

Floating ideas of freedom

Standing on shore while viewing a proud sailing ship come “floating” past on the way
maybe you realize what feelings Robinson Crusoe had on the small deserted island.
they fascinate even though you don’t just missing “run opportunity” at the very moment.

A little bit Hamburg

02 03

Everyone knows that real gentlemen do not stare openly at women’s bottoms
and certainly not if it on top of that is a royal one of its kind
anyway so are a lots of germans on the port of Hamburg staring
(along with a lot of tourists)
to see the rear of the passenger ship Queen Mary II, when the ship leaves port
this day was cloudy and foggy weather
just as the ship knows very well from the British Isles.

Somewhere else in the city – for example the perhaps world famous avenue Reperbahn
which in the daylight looks very dull, but in the evening and night neon glow
blooms with lots of life and lots of alluring temptations
then it seems very normal to stare at whatever you wants.

A danish king Frederick the Eighth died in 1912 during a night visit on this street
but this fact we danes prefer not to talk so much about
because no one knew exactly what he was doing there.

It was the music venues in this town in the early 1960s
that marked the start of the pop group from Liverpool – The Beatles.
