Another Sunday, yesterday

01 93

Rainy Sunday
does not matter at all
because of several reasons,
this sunday was a working sunday
rain shouldn’t scare
on the contrary,
it creates an idyllic atmosphere
deep thoughts might be born on rainy days
never so busy that there isn’t time for a break at the cafe
sitting dry outdoors under the sunblind
which also acts as a shelter from the rain, not only sunlight
the neighbor table isn’t covered against the rain
while the raindrops playing merrily on the table’s glass surface
the shadow of an empty coffee press
and the reflection from a gasvarmers golden glow
mixes forceful but inspiring in the fun.

  1. Maybe I should save this beatiful and evocative picture for a hot summer day in order to prevent me from feeling unwell
Ever since my late 30th, when I for a period of time was not just unwell, but very, very sick and had a lot of medicin by drop, temperatures over 22 degrees do indeed not become me very well.
So, now a perfect summer day to me is a cloudy, rainy and windy (from the West) one Sorry to say!😦

  2. Lovely picture dear Drake, and lovely words to go with it. I am a rain-lover😉 and I so adore this….we’ve been having rainy days as well thanks to 2 back-to-back typhoons…definitely rainy season now..
