The body must have variety in order to rebalance after work
ie after physical stress periods, so should the body had rest
while the body after physical quiet but mentally hard work
has the benefit of being “kicked in the ass”
It needn’t be extreme sports, which often are more mental “injection”
so the difference between the extreme sport
and mountain biking alone in terms of fitness and pleasure
that is the risk assessment are much more extreme in fitness
when exercise is paramount and the key so is the risk calculation different.
