Go west if the horse agree

138

Nostalgia, retro, wannabe or just simplicity..?
…..
Rent a horse drawn carriage for a week
run daily trips on designated routes at idyllic little island
camp in designated pitches of nature
where it is possible to establish campfire
and park all night without a parking disc
furthermore it is provided water and feed for the horse.
…..
Probably many wouldn’t feel attracted to this type of vacation (including myself)
typically, it is a family with 2 adults and 2-3 children – who dare the trip in slow motion
guaranteed relaxing and challenging for the family ability to cooperate at the same time.
…..
There are opportunities to sit on the carriage behind the horse
with dreams back to the old wild west childhood games
to be John Wayne, James Stewart, Gary Cooper or Calamity Jane.
…..
There is the little twist on the story
the horses know the trips as well as to turn the right places
they also know the rest areas and stops there
if the person with the rope to the horse’s bridle forget it.
…..
As an explanation for why it doesn’t attract me
I always chose to be apache or navajo people
never ever cowboy in those childhood game.
……
With inspiration from Ailsa’s excellent blog
take a look at the challenge here “Where’s my backpack
this’s my version of the Travel Theme “Simplicity”.

  1. When I was very young I had dreams about riding around on a white horse. I had this wicked cowgirl outfit and I looked very nice in my hat! All of my western heros rode with me. My heros included Cree, Apache and all natives as well as Cowboys and Cowgirls. Together we would avenge wrong doing.
Thanks for this lovely post that has evoked this memory! _Resa xo
