Traveling can quickly become a superficial experience
not necessarily intentionally
but speed is a mood which easily take power away from us
the faster we go, the fewer experiences.
Bridges are often very beautiful and fascinating to look at
the views from them are often amazing
if we reach to see these things in the passing.
Ferries especially the little tiny ones, they give a break
so our brain can catch up with our “high speed” body again
some of the crossings may only take 5-10-15 minutes
Maybe just what we need to catch an inspiring atmosphere.
…..
Seize the day!
I often wonder why we’re always in a rush….
If we’re in holidays, why not to enjoy our leisure time ,at last?
Apparently,we’ve lost the habit……!

Yeah agree with you – hurry is not a quality by itself, and timely care is when speed is adapted to the challenges… 🙂 🙂
True my friend, we must sometimes give it a break, great post as usual. 🙂

Ganske enig – måske fordi jeg er barnefødt og levede mine første 5-6 år på en lille bitte dansk ø – så jeg har nærmest fået færger ind med modermælken… ‘hehehe’
I like your quote “… we need to catch an inspiring atmosphere… “
