Un Américain à Paris..?
(An American in Paris)
If you are arriving Paris from the west side via the river Seine
then you meet, in almost New Yorker way, the Statue of Liberty
a copy of the french gift to the american people
created by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi
the french and the american loves and “hates” each other at the same time
just like an old married couple
the french will not admit that they are fascinated by the Big Apple
in the same way as the americans will not confess their fascination of Paris
