Fail or fool

Very often when we are looking at a brick wall
so we look for characteristics
– is it positively or what ..?

If you look for perfection, you’ll never be content
(from “Anna Karenina” by Leo Tolstoy)

Newly built wall seen in a small danish village.

  1. When it is about perfections, I always remember the words I read quite some time ago – that every perfection is boring and all the beauty is in imperfections 🙂 So that’s what I am usually looking for!

  2. But what is perfection? Its the old conundrum what is perfection to one may be not so to someone else. Most things in life I’ve come across have imperections but that doesn’t make them any the less beautiful to me. I don’t think I would be comfortable with perfection, flaws are what make things interesting. Oh and I like the brick wall as I was once a builder myself LOL.

Knew a geography professor, who was known as the owner of an extremely messy office – but there wasn’t one single piece of paper in his stacks of paper which he hadn’t full control over – he said that perfectionists controlled chaos, while the ones we said were perfectionists only were robots… 🙂 😉

In a way, I believe he was right… “lol”

I believe that the imperfect human being is perfect… 🙂

  3. Ironically, imperfections are perfection to me. I adore unique people, places and things that stand out on their own. This is a nice addition to your many wonderful posts and is apparently a hot topic with your followers! 😉
