There is an expression that says: “One must suffer for the beauty”
most often used in relation to how we humans helps nature to beautify ourselves.
Maybe the term could be used in another context too
namely in the world of all the beautiful flowers
the stretch between the flowers’ own beautiful world
and when a woman receiving a beautiful bouquet of flowers
there one might say that the flowers suffered for the beauty
To see the flowers into transport stage between the two positions
mostly similar to watching a man in underpants when he is about to take on his tuxedo
or a woman wearing bath sheet painting toenails before she puts on her gown
But no doubt the journey of the flowers is worth it.
With the inspiration from Ailsa and her worth visting blog
“Where’s my backpack?“
this is my version of the travel theme this week “Delicate“
Say it with flowers..!
…
You just wonder where are all these beautiful flowers going?
#.laurie
Nah I wonder how these beautiful flowers – from being very beautiful both before and after can be so “dull” in between… 🙂 🙂
Suffer does not always guarantee beauty though 🙂 and some wildflowers are just as beautiful as bouquet of flowers 🙂
#.amy
Agree, you’re right… 🙂
In fact wildflowers or “natural flowers in freedom” are my favorites – but but but I admit that I have bought many bouquets of flowers through the years… 🙂 😉
eh oui, il faut souffrir pour être beau/belle… 🙂 dis-le avec des fleurs, mon canard noir! 🙂
#.melanie
C’est lui – dire avec des fleurs
– pas de roses sans épines – même ne pas pour la beauté… 🙂 🙂
I have another one for you: “one suffers because of beauty” – up to you to interpret my words 😀
#.paula
Yeah agree – there are both those who suffer for the beauty and those who suffer because of the beauty – it’s been most sorry for these latter… 🙂 🙂
If you are sorry why are you laughing 😀
Maybe because the beauty is in the observer’s eyes… 🙂
The concept of ‘beauty’ is perhaps a bit overrated – because it is actually a subjective opinion – I think it’s fine that it is the way it is – we all have different values and no one is right… 🙂
Of course it is in the beholder’s eye, but we all know generally what is beautiful and what is not…. and there are so many women envied for their beauty as if it was something that would make them happy, and often it turns out to be a curse.
‘hahaha’ – never say ‘generally’ to me… ‘big big smile’ 😉
Perhaps the biggest problem is that the “system” try to indoctrinate us all some general or standardized norms also in terms of beauty – it creates large problems for a lot of people.
Both men and women who use their appearance commercially, they actually make their appearance public – but I agree you are right, a large number of innocent women attract the attention from an unwanted side because they seem attractive to some they don’t want to do – then it isn’t funny that the idiots don’t understand a rejection…
I am the less generalised and prejudiced person I know but generalizing exists and it is the way it is – and I am not trying to heat the argument in this ungodly hour. I just wanted to offer a different point of view one; most of great beauties lived the life of unhappiness – as seen in media or throughout literature. The research has shown that any deviation from some washed-up average be it in physical, intellectual or other features causes one trouble if not a misfortune. I am not a vulgar mind that needs to be right (albert camus), but I am getting happier that you are seeing my point. Bonne nuit.
Well I actually think that we are very much in agreement when everything are counted together… 🙂
Lijepo spavaj. moj prijatelj – i san slatki – *hopes the translete is okay* 🙂

Really a great quote… 🙂 🙂
¡No merece la pena sufrir por la belleza, pero sí admirar la de las flores del campo, libres y al sol !!!
#.barbara
Yeah, that’s the way I like it too… 🙂
Clever post! My mother always told me if I didn’t suffer I wouldn’t be beautiful. ‘lol”
What color gown will she be putting on, and do the nails match? 😉 🙂

All you wonderful women can use really much time – chooooosing colors…
“lol lol” 😉 😉
Yes, well at least we chooooose!!!! 😉 🙂 You tuxedo men and Drakes can barely choose a bow tie if it’ not the black one. “lol” 😎
Anyway, I choose black leather, studs and cream lace for my next Art Gown with Red lips and nails (all 20). ♥ It’s going to be simply marvelous! 🙂
In fact I have a white tux jacket and a grey too… “lol” 🙂
OMG! I had no idea. “lol” The fact that you have more than one tux makes you a very exciting Drake, indeed! Sigh! It’s no wonder you have a beautiful Art Gown. 😉 🙂
Not forget all my tie bows… 😉
