Urban artistry

I guess that most people have the perception that an art museum
is a building we go into – so that we can watch and admire art exhibitions
traditional and non-traditional.
Sometimes museums offer experiences that they may not even realize.
On the roof of the art museum Aros in Aarhus – the second largest danish city
there can be experienced fantastic urban artistry quite legally
after having “inhaled” all the art as the many floors of the building offer us.

A rooftop views, absolutly an art museum worthy.

A post inspired from the always worth visiting Paula
Thursday’s Special: “The bridges of light

My version of “the bridges of lights” between art and urban.

So glad you like it, really appreciate your words… 🙂

Yeah experience of unexpected art sometimes only one step further away – or one step higher – the experience of a city from a rooftop provides a great dimension in addition to all the other impressions -.especially if the rooftop is on top of an art museum.. 🙂

Really like the word “bridges of lights” – a perfect word to describe the connection between two different concepts – here art and urban – there are many “luminous bridges” maybe we can call it the missing link – ie when it isn’t there… 🙂

Aarhus is the city, where my father grow up, I have a lot of family there… 🙂

Lived in the city while I studied at both the University of Aarhus and Aarhus School of Business – ASofB has now later become an Integral unit of the university – it was some wonderful years… 🙂 🙂

  2. Beautiful picture! I agree with you: a rooftop view is like an art museum when we are in a beautiful city. I’m charmed, for example, by any rooftop view of Paris… aren’t you? 😉
