Oldies but goodies

No smoking

How old do something or someone have to be, to be ancient..?

When I started school at age 6, the teachers were ancient – they were in their 30s.

When we previously sat in my filled kitchen and drank coffee in the afternoon
while I had a good time with my son and all his friends
they told about their ancient parents, so these parents were often younger than me.

What is the difference between closed, abandoned or left behind..?

Now a days there seems no difference while also the world of a difference.

Abandoned things often become fashionable and sometimes even work better
– than before it was abandoned.

Flying parcel

Spent a day in Derby the other day, which is home to Mid Eastland Airport
watched the planes in a break between the two sessions.
Beside me stood a man with his little son. guess he was about 5 years (yeah the son).
The son asked what was on the plane
the father replied that it transported packages
“Just like Santa” asked the son.

Sometimes we think that something is fishy
the cause may be a paradox
we use very often the term “shed light on”
when we have to had something clarified
but just light, in other situations, do cheat us
and make something to look gloomy or fishy.

The other night on the way home from a late meeting
in fact so this street of Liverpool wasn’t fishy at all.

A post inspired from the always worth visiting Paula

Sky on floor level

Irish Sea

The Irish Sea one day in the late february.

Aim for the sky and you’ll reach the ceiling
aim for the ceiling and you’ll stay on the floor
(Bill Shankly – legendary soccer coach Liverpool FC)

Sometimes it feels like the distance between the sky and the sea not so long
it isn’t such days, we should set up our goals.

“Ferry Cross the Mersey” immortalized by Gerry (Marsden) and the Pacemakers
this day the river’s waves were just a little bit wild
an excellent opportunity to assess the vessel’s seaworthiness.

Living next door to life

To be alive and feel alive, it’s requires that we act like being alive.

Sometimes it just feels really really wonderful to be alive

Life is a lot of roundabouts, each with plenty of exit opportunities
whether which is the right to choose aren’t indicate until we have turned.

After have had deselected the drums many years ago, to make time for other things
so they still fascinate when they are heard live
also because I know that drummer really feel alive.
