In Liverpool, for example, if we take the ferry crosses the Mersey
and choose bus or double decker bus for onward transport
these buses tempts us in many different colors
blue, green, yellow, red, black, white, purple, pink etc.
The colors tells us nothing about where we’ll go, just who owns them
diversity of route options are made visible only by the route numbers of the buses.
Similarly, diversity between us humans, “just” are a coloring or spice of life
it tells nothing about if each of us are on the right path.
Diversity may end up in landfill or in celebration
in the very end, it’s all our own responsibility.
“Recognize yourself in he and she who are not like you and me”
(Carlos Fuentes Macías – mexican writer)
“How can you govern a country which has 246 varieties of cheese..?”
(Charles de Gaulle – french general and statesman)
“Strength is in differences, not in similarities”
(Stephen R. Covey – american professor and author)
The inspiration for these thoughts arised from the worth visiting blog “Ese’s Voice“
Weekly Shoot & Quote Challenge Theme “Diversity“.

Tusind tak… 🙂 🙂
So various choices, Drake – wonderful! And my favourite quote – by Stephen R. Cove, about similarities and differences…the beauty and originality does come from being different and not simply following the crowd and being a part of it.

We often forget this synergistic effect, a brilliant way to make us all stronger – it’s the never ending story in many ways – differences working together is perfect for every one – the most classic is the relationship between man and woman – instead of using each other’s strengths and weaknesses – so both sexes talk nonsense too often… 🙂 😉
