Albert Dock Liverpool UK – the water level is close to the rear of the bus passengers.
Closeness provides intimacy and excitement
therefore we walk in the mountains
therefore, we sail around the small sailboats
therefore we clatters around in an old bus on safari
therefore, we walk around in the woods under the trees
therefore we hang your xss in surface of the water in this bus
to get close up with a feeling – nature is useful.
With the inspiration from Ailsa and her absolutly worth visting blog
“Where’s my backpack?“
this is my version of the travel theme this week “Close-up“.
Creative take on the theme Drake. The reflections in the photo are fabulous. Have a great day!

So glad you enjoyed it – so it’s exciting to take the bus, isn’t it..? 😉
Wish you a wonderful weekend… 🙂
Incredible photo! I agree with “to get close up with a feeling – nature is useful”… really it is for me! 😉

Thanks a lot, really appreciates – nature is wonderful perfect to lean against when we need it… 🙂
Is the abacus still in use? How about the View Master? I loved my View Master. 🙂
Le Drake, your shot is an illusion to me. Somehow it seems like a toy boat, like a doll house with little figures in it. Well done! Also the reflections are outstanding! xo

Thanks a lot so glad you do like it – perfect for a bus ride… ‘lol’ 🙂
“lol” It seems I commented on the next post and this post all at once. 😎 😉

Yeah it doesn’t matter… 😎
I remember them too, miss them too – we used abacus in school… 🙂
In Asia we’d call that annoying overcrowding. I love how you respun the idea.

There is a funny story with these buses – I’m danish but lives about half the year in Liverpool – Liverpool is called the “Green Gate” or the “Irish Gate” because the port is an interface between England and Ireland – the first time I was on the bus, it was following an irish friend who lived in the city of Liverpool – as we sat on the bus so he invited me to visit in Ireland with hie and his wife “We’ll just take the bus” he said – the bus driver laughed and told that the bus couldn’t handle the Irish Sea over to Dublin – but “only” Albert Dock (a part of the port area of Liverpool)… 🙂 🙂
That would have definitely been a rough bus ride!
I guess so – maybe we should swim the final stretch – there can be tough waves in the Irish Sea… 🙂 😉
I’m not sure why but this looks like a miniature toy boat – interesting shot.

Thanks a lot, so glad you like it – at first sight it seems a bit weird when the bus drive into the water – but if visiting Liverpool every one have to try it… 😉
