Peaks are fascinating and alluring for most of us
they are usually not stationary shelters but moments which we should enjoy
but if we don’t enjoy the way up – the challenges, pain and joy
then it can be a pretty flat feeling, standing there
at the same time we must be prepared for the experience downwards
while we get ready to climb up for new peaks.
Le château d’Échery is a ruined castle in the Haut-Rhin area
located west of the city Séletat in Alsace, built for nearly eight hundred years ago
the remains of the castle keeps staunchly glued to this peak
like knowing that there will never be other peak.
