Early sunday morning, back in L’pool for the next 7-8 weeks.
My inspiration comes from wonderful “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes.
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone
( written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein)
John (Lennon) smiles always so friendly when we land at the airport.
Cities never sleep, but the bustle level varies with the time.
sunday morning isn’t red alert time
only if it’s about soccer 3 hours later at Anfield, which is seen at the left middle.
Still peacefully.
Let us be entertained, the kopites are ready.
A sign above the tunnel into the field with have ritual significance for the players
they touch it, to be sure that Lady Luck is on their side.
The manager do it as well and may in fact be the most loneliest at all.
“Success has many fathers, while failure has only one mother“
The “mother” always happens to be the manager.
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There’s a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
(written by Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein)
The visiting opponents are the champions from last year
now the heating has ended and the players are ready
when the last cameraman left the field.
Liverpool FC – Manchester City 2 – 1
The stadium can walk on water without getting wet.
The walk wasn’t ended, some needs a refreshment – and no one needed to go alone.
Great post!

So glad you enjoyed this, really do appreciate… 🙂
We were cheering them on, Drake 🙂 Wouldn’t ever want to be a manager, though they do say the pay is good 🙂 🙂 No Yellow Submarine? No- that would be ‘never swim alone’! Thanks for your lovely company, Drake, and welcome home.
