Last summer in the french Alps.
Both the cow and the donkey did not worry about rules, only their own
they were more interested in the nimble black mountain bike
hidden behind the photographer – who doesn’t know (photo) rules particularly well.
“If you’re not sure what to do with the ball,
just pop it in the net and we’ll discuss your options afterwards”
*Bill Shankly – legendary former soccer manager in Liverpool FC*
Maybe photography is a bit the same way:
Shoot and discuss afterwards.
Said with a huge twinkle in the eye, as only a pure amateur may have.
Inspired from Paula’s Thursday’s Special this week “Breaking the rules“
Brilliant capture – you always give a smile for my day. Thank you…

That is one beautiful cow 🙂
😀 I couldn’t think of a better subjects to photograph, and am particularly envious of this sweet donkey. 🙂 Thank you for bringing me these rule breakers, Drake. Have a good night!

Very nice picture, Drake! I agree with you: if we are pure amateur we are allowed to break rules of photography… and of many other things too! 😉 😀

So glad you enjoyed this, really do appreciate your words… 🙂
We can learn a lot from a cow and a donkey enjoying the fields. Nice photo too!

So glad you enjoyed the view – agree we can learn so much… 🙂
Rules should be broken , now and then…

Agree, no rules for the rules own sake… 🙂
La montagne comme je l’aime …
Juste gaire attention à pas se faire charger (o…lait) par les vaches, et j’en sais quelque chose … pas fier.
Pas Gaire (j’erre – à l’occasion) but Faire.
