The spring presses on with greater and greater force – an irresistible force.
A bike ride in the south southeastern Lancashire UK reveals all the signs.
My inspiration comes from wonderful “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes..
Besides seeing where you drive, so look at the surroundings and enjoy.

The farmers are on track, the spring track.

These small but well padded piglets enjoying spring, however supervised by their mother.

Small fellow with a great voice, also very curious about phographers..

Local Lancashire village church, open for a visit and a chair for relaxing.

These kind of small villages really create an inspiring mood.

A green door and a fascinating wall – together a small farmhouse.

In the landscape of Lancashire, you could still meet a view like this.

It’s a while since I had a tootle around Lancashire, Drake. You make it look very tempting. Lead me to the boat hire 🙂 🙂 Many thanks for your company again. Have a great week! 🙂

Okay a large area, but absolutly worth using some time there – a lot of interesting places which tells so many different stories and wonderful nature too… 🙂
Love every one of these, Drake, but most of all the piglets and the robin.
Thank You for sharing.
Best Wishes

So glad you enjoyed this ‘walk’ (actually it was on bike) – really do appreciate your words… 🙂
It’s true: Spring can be noticed everywhere and even the least mark of its presence brings emotion!

Agree with you, so much indeed… 🙂
What a wonderful mood! A charming sequence of pictures, yes I really enjoyed the views. Thanks Drake for sharing. I’m looking around me and me too I’m surprised by the force of spring. 😉 🙂

So glad you enjoyed these views – yeah the force of spring, sometimes like an explosion… 😀
Really lovely place to walk, Drake. The village is indeed peaceful and inspiring, (beautifully composed photograph) and I am glad that there are still places that leave their churches open for anyone to visit and meditate, if they wish.

So glad you enjoyed this little ‘walk’ (on a bike), really do appreciate your words – agree about the churches and it would be sad if the doors were closed for them too – who want to see this wonderful architecture which often hidden behind the walls… 🙂
For even someone who is not religious, the church architecture and decoration is worth seeing and studying.
Absolutly, agree with you – been impressed a lot many places and really enjoy visiting these places – even I’m not religiuos at all – have great respect about pepople and their religion as long as they allow other the same space and freedom as they want themselves… 🙂
Well said, Drake. It is a shame not everyone has this attitude. Then what a peaceful and wonderful world it would be.
I guess, more things than we expect also depends on action by ourselves… 🙂
A wonderful area and so beautiful presented!
Greetings,
Ulli
