Everything is sand colored here, these two dromedaries too.
The green rope and the gray blanket – it is so we humans can find them.
In this sandy Sahara just south of the tunisian oasis town Tozeur.
Photos from earlier this year.
Weekly photo challenge “Monochromatic“.

So glad you enjoyed this view – that area and sand city was used in the Star Wars movies years agp – now a huge tourism spot, but some of the movie backdrops were ruined by sand storms later on – but a lot of the places are still ‘ready’ for visitors who wish to be look a like Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, princess Leia or an other from the story… 🙂
The dromedaries are an amazing animal – so stubborn in own cooperative way, persevering in a relaxed way and stylish at the charming clumsily way… 🙂
Wait till I grab my Princess Leia cape! 🙂
‘hehehe’ – can’t wait… 🙂
We could create a new Star Wars movie… 😀
Thanks, Darth… oops, Drake 🙂
😀
I’ve heard about Tozeur , but never seen such slendid photos of the place!
