The walkway to the Wasserschloß Bottmingen in southern of the swiss city of Basel.
The inspiration comes from “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes.
This is a “prowl” or walk around in the swiss city Basel, in present mood.
No connection between the photos except they all are atmosphere of Basel.
The old Marktplatz in Basel.
An exhibition, with this piece of art – “We shall overcome” -.definitely good news.
Comfortable way to tackle the traffic, take a seat in a tram.

Thank you for showing me a city that I don’t know at all- Roger Federer’s home town? I should have known it would be beautiful! Thank you so much for all your support throughout the year, Drake. You have been a good friend 🙂 Where and how will you celebrate Christmas this year? Wishing you a happy time, wherever!

Yes Roger Federer’s hometown – and for the last about 5 years hometown of my son too – have a lovely swiss daughter in law… 😀
Christmas time always so buzy for me – “shit” happens when close friends and family are spread out over Europe, Australia, northern Africa and several places in America… 😀
Always enjoy your visit and enjoy visiting your ‘place’ too – really love all those walks… 🙂
All the best wishes for you and yours from here… 🙂
No wonder you get about so much 🙂 Hugs, Drake!
By the way an other tennis star Ana Ivanovic is born in Basel too – also Ursula Andress, Hermann Hesse (german-swiss writer and philosopher), Krystian Zimerman ( polish classical pianist) and Friedrich Nietzsche (german philosopher)… 🙂
A roll call of stars. Maybe I should move 🙂 🙂
Hoho…
Beautiful, festive and wonderful images

What a lovely city! I thought it was only a town! My friend (who is from there) always makes it sound so quaint. Lovely captures, LDN! ⭐

Years since I visited Basel ?30? …perhaps it’s time to visit again!
What a pretty place, I love the old white bridge and the buildings behind it!
