February mood of the evocative parisian Montmartre.
The inspiration comes from “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes.
Montmartre is a hard place to leave, even when it rains incessantly.
The best thing by leaving this parisian star is the joyful expectation of a return.
The rain wasn’t that bad at all, actually only a few drops.
Oh, what wonderful memories, Drake! Thank you so much. 🙂 I didn’t do the elevator- have to go back! 🙂 🙂 I felt rather sorry for that first artist. Even in August it was a chilly place, we found. But the weather just doesn’t matter sometimes, does it?

So glad you enjoyed this walk – Montmartre always the focal point for visits to Paris, have some very good friends who live there – they insist that we are overnighting there – then we return the hospitality as often as they like. 🙂
Montmartre have a wonderful atmosphere every time of the year… 🙂
Definitely NOT jealous 🙂 🙂
Wonderful pictures!

So glad you enjoyed this view – all these painters together create a wonderful atmosphere spring, summer, fall or winter… 🙂
I sometimes think I can hear the sounds or smell the smells in these pictures. Maybe someday I will be able to compare my imaginings to the reality. Until then, thank you for bringing me to these places… 🙂
