Daily prompt “Expert“

Perhaps the word “expert” is rather “raped” in the public space.?
It may be the media, politicians or many others especially authorities.
Always used when others have to convince us about something.
Then there’s an “expert statement”.
Which exactly telling that “truth” they want us to believe.

We are all experts in one way or another.
Have always admired seamen handling of marine equipment, really experts.
I myself am an expert in coffee, especially to drink it.
