Just around my corner

The inspiration comes from wonderful “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes.
An iconic view which appears as the image of Alsace for great many people.
Daily life in the area is a delightful blend of tradition and progress.
Many rooted in local traditions from childhood, others from many parts of the world.
They (we) have chosen resettlement in this charming surroundings with its many facets.
Where just to go outside the front door means that we are bombarded by impressions.

The word “museum” might sound so dusty and gray.
But museums can be lively and inspiring too, as this ecomuseum.

In the modern world there is much talk about the driverless vehicles.
Here they have been known for years, the horse knows the route and the dog controls.

  1. Wonderful atmosphere indeed, all can be like a “museum” in the open-air there, just around your corner! J’adore les maisons de l’Alsace ❤ 🙂 Another piece of my France where I must go to stay for a long holiday at least once in my life! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  2. That’s one smart looking dog, Drake, and I love the friendly goat 🙂 🙂 What a charming world you depict. I might give that blacksmith a wide berth though 🙂 Thanks for the link!

  3. Which reminds me of my dentist appointment. We have a lot to be thankful for today, don’t we. And still we look for such places with nostalgic eyes. I will need coordinates for this eco-museum 🙂
