Famous burgundian dishes and wines include:
Coq au vin,
Beef bourguignon
Époisses de Bourgogne (cheese)
Chablis (white wine), Beaujolais (red wine) added a lot more wines.
Burgundy have its own color linked to the name, namely Burgundy red or wine red.
I do love Burgundian roofs…and Burgundy as well. 🙂

I was in the region about 35 years ago and I remember I was charmed by the local architecture and colourful, “musical” roofs… so thank you very much for this beautiful picture and “souvenir”. ❤
By the way, I also visited a very big ancient cellar. 😉
I cannot begin to imagine the time that tile work involved – on rooftop! Pretty.
I love that colour and I love Chablis and this roof would have me singing too. I’d love to go there.
