Return for a walk

bb-17

Right in the middle of january month, actually in the middle of winter.
Make no mistake, despite the blue sky and sun.
The temperature is just above freezing.
A walk on the little tiny danish island of Samso right in the middle of Denmark.

A walk inspired from “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes.

The island is known to have five churches and two annexe churches
to less than 3700 inhabitants, of which 1% goes to church once a week.
But the churches are beautiful architectural monuments.

Onsbjerg Church, this is built in the 1200s.

  1. That tiny church is so beautiful, Drake. 🙂 I’d take a big scarf and hunker down to admire it.
I hope your parents are warm enough. It’s been a bitter one this year.

  2. Always tiny and peaceful this island. I liked very much this walk. Very interesting the source of fresh water! Thanks for sharing all these views Drake. 🙂

  3. love the blue and white vibe throughout the post- also – the bit of fresh water at the end had a cool (fesh) vibe – how neat is that??!!
