Life-like art

The square in Husum in front of the church.
A sculpture on top of a well.

Adolf Brütt, a sculptor from Husum, created this memorial.
Called “Tine-Brunnen” or “The Tine Well” in public..
August Friedrich Woldsen and his cousin Anna Catharina Asmussen (Tine)
Have given name to the memorial as they did a great job for the weakest in the society.

The well is adorned by a bronze sculpture – a young beautiful fisher women,
namely Anna Catharina Asmussen.

  1. When I see all the posts on your blog, I see how fabulous and beautiful Europe is. So… I am planning a trip to Spain in the next year. Now, today, I have been made afraid of traveling , again.
I send much love to you, and all my European friends. XOXO
