My fave way to travel! Wish there was a giant rail bridge over the ocean!
There is a unique nostalgia produced by railway stations even now. Even diesel fumes cannot eliminate the ingrained smoke and ste am. Lime Street, Glasgow Central, and Gare St. Lazare are my choice memories. Sadly the latter has been “tarted up” but the memory is still intact. Des.
Brilliant post 🙂
I was there in August/September. Great place!
