From the area on the edge of Sahara south of Tozeur in Tunisia.
Walk all inspired from wonderful “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes.
Oases are water holes in the desert.
Perfect for a rest.
A couple of hours rest, then on the “run” again.
Cozy “night on fire” mood.
Camp for the night.
Sahara Bakery, it could be called.
A local “baked” bread in the hot desert sand.
It did taste wonderful.
Arrival at the camp of next night.
So that’s what you’ve been up to! 🙂 🙂 I could badly use some play in the sand time, Drake. There’s enough water here to make lots of sand pies! Belated Happy Easter 🙂
Interesting post and beautiful pictures! That’s an amazing experience, thanks for sharing dear Drake. 🙂
I love the photo from the area on the edge of Sahara.

I was in Tozeur in 2006. Amazing experience, & was an impromptu guest at a local wedding! I thought Tozeur nowadays is off limits. Anyway great pics!
