Historic area with a huge strategic location and important trade routes,
Linking the Atlantic to the Mediterranean sea
– and the Massif Central to the Pyrénées.

It was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.
So much history to see, which can’t be done without lots of time.
