Kaysersberg and Kintzheim, two nearby alsatian gems.
Settlements with plenty of idyllic charming atmosphere.
Snapshots from experiences throughout the fall as time gave way.
As usual inspired by “Restlessjo” and her captivating “Monday walk” themes.
Lots of old-fashionedness in the modern way.
Fun to live close to a view that people travel far to see.
See it several times a day when I’m home.
Early morning, later in the day
– filled with residents and tourists.
Both scenarios are charming.
One of the most popular photo subjects in the entire Alsace.?
Not bad to have your own observation tower in the backyard.
Keep an eye on the neighbors and wine clusters in the field.?
Stork relaxing, the kids have left home at last.?
Idyllic! What else can I say? So many doorways to peer through. I think I could love your home as much as my own. 🙂 🙂 Thanks so much for your company.
Feeling a bit like Fred Flintstone when coming home. 😀 😀 😀

I love these kinds of places. I grew up in an ‘historic town’ where there were a lot of the traditional old black & white buildings in the UK so I can appreciate the quaintness.
Looks beautiful, charming and quite peaceful 😊

So glad you enjoyed these views. Agree, atmosphere come over time – places are rarely “born” with it. 🙂
Two more for the lists. 🙂 You are blessed in your home views. These are very Colmar-ish.

In the good way so Colmar is the “big” center for the area – these two villages and many other similar ones, they complement the stunning style of the “capital-like” Colmar – all in all a wonderful area. 🙂
Really a wonderful area, as you say! You’re lucky to live in it. Thanks for sharing. 🙂 ❤
Yes really old-fashionedness in the modern way. 🙂
Really enjoy your photos. Thank you for sharing!
Really appreciate you enjoyed these views. 🙂
