In some places along the North Sea, the beach is used as a “runway” by fishermen
– instead of a harbor, they have a pick-up point where they park the boats.
It is most often associated with very small fishing communities.
When the boats return home, they are pulled up by a game or a bulldozer.
The load is then emptied by hand and prepared for the next journey.
Some almost always work in shorts on land – all year.
A lovely series, Drake. The colours are great 🙂 🙂
A bit cold but the sun was there. 🙂
