Landscape with hills and lakes created back in the ice age.
The pressure of the ice and later melting made the lakes very deep
– moreover, the water even in summer is very very cold.
Nature is in hibernation and lies passively and gathers new forces
– however, civilization (a tiny village) is seen on the horizon.
An ancient manor house can also be seen through the naked trees.
Walk inspired by “Restlessjo” and her captivating “Monday walk” themes.

Glad you said so. 🙂
It had my knees knocking, Drake, but I might get a cup of something warming at that manor house? I’ll ask very politely 🙂 🙂 Always good to have your company.
Nearby there is an inn – on the hilltop is actually an ice cream parlor (only open in summer). The castle or manor house is the third at the area with the same name, the other two you can visit the ruins – the oldest is over a thousand years old. 🙂
More ice cream! 🙂 🙂
Exactly, you started the thoughts. 😀
🙂 🙂
