Now I KNOW you’re missing Paris 🙂 🙂
😀
Cool quote! I didn’t know that!
🙂
Love that quote.
🙂
I guess this is just a macaron meeting then as I see no cake. 🙂 When I worked at the pastry shop in Naperville, macarons were probably our biggest seller from the pastry case. I like them in very small numbers but there are lots of things I like more. I really enjoy French pastries because they’re not very sweet, whereas those in the US are usually too much for me.

Agree with you about the “american sugar fascination” 😀 The nordic countries have “a very sweet tooth” too, but not so much as americans. 😀 Think not so much about my health but about my taste, when I say prefer not too eweet. 😀
Mine is also my taste but fortunately the less sugar the better for health as well. Win-win.
You’re right a straight win-win situation. 😀
Lol! True quote. Those macarons look delish!!
🙂
I LOVE this! Never knew this Julia Childs quote, but it’s SO TRUE! But then, I adore baking … : )
So your meetings are partytime. 😀 😀
