Abandoned mine passage, even the break-up is abandoned.
Nowadays when we go down to subway stations.
whether it is local city railways or railways out of the cities.
Then they are mostly like carved out of marble,
smooth and “well-groomed” – from the start, later they can look very used.
Ancient mine tunnels are actually often established in the same way,
only without the smooth and “well-groomed” from the start.
Workplace without perks, maybe those which are active still is it too.?
character develops over time
For sure – and it can go both ways. 🙂
I would have made a bad miner, as I don’t like close places, especially when there are tons of rock above me. 🙂
Open landscapes and seascapes are the best for me too, couldn’t work such places either – but in a way it is fascinating to see.
Teehee!
Long abandoned….
Indeed.
We saw these ancient mines two days ago here in Alberta..love the image of this mine.
In a way very fascinating – but a very hard workplace I guess.
Glad you enjoyed these views.
