Passing or cruising by

A tiny (danish) island has an eye-catching problem.
The bathing jetties are far too small for cruise ships to stop by.
Maybe not that bad – how 4-5000 passengers should find space,
the beach would quickly become overcrowded.
So it all have to be seen from a distance.
