Poplar trees being tall and fast-growing trees
often grown in shelter belts – for timber and pulp too.
Can become extremely old, seen some belts that are at least 150 years old.
When they stand in lip belts, they are usually pruned to a certain height.
This, which is repeated at unknown intervals – doesn’t change their life expectancy.
These shelter belts also serve as habitats for wildlife.
You’re totally right. 🙂
🌳🌴🌲 Even we need some pruning every now and then to help us grow! Thanks for sharing! 🥰🦋😍
You have a really good point, not always enough to cut our hair. 😀 😀 😀
These trees caught my attention. I saw somewhere here. Thanks Anita
It really is a robust and tough wood species. 🙂
I like these old willows and perfect hides for owls !
You’re right, owls enjoy them. 🙂
