Maiden cage.?

With the blue sky as a backdrop lies the tower from the ancient fortress
up on the hill behind alsatian Kaysersberg – one of the town’s landmarks.
A maiden is supposed to be looking scouting out from the window.?
Perhaps a fairy-tale glow about this situation.
In some places towers were used as a safe place of protection or capture place.
Beauty maiden had a risky existence back at that time too.
However, this tower wasn’t used as a maiden cage, but defense of the entire town.
