King of the forest

The belgian horse breed, muscular and perfect for forestry.
Seen in many forests around in Europe, in french Grand Est as well.

A cool and calm powerful traction, human much superior in strength.

Little bit dangerous

Is a very huge supporter of the principle:
Do you know what you talk about so talk out loud,
knowing nothing about it so shut up and listen
This is how I feel about these fellows,
which is the very last call to be found in the french forests this year.
The forest floor is teeming with them yet.
Tastes really great when collected by people with sense and knowledge.

As usual inspired by “Restlessjo” and her captivating “Monday walk” themes.

Life beyond forestry

Modern (french too) forestry is much more than cutting down trees.
With a modern expression, the infrastructure is trimmed.
Because forestry is beyond nature also about economics.
But there are very often spaces left to enjoy life among wonderful trees too.

As usual inspired by “Restlessjo” and her captivating “Monday walk” themes.

Mountain bike ride about a week ago.
