The real stuff

Probably one of the most sympathetic danish sausages men
– it’s Knud from the city of Horsens presents the real danish hot dog.

The ingredients are bread, onion, ketchup, mustard, pickled and sliced cucumber
– sausages there are many different kinds, in some places vegan too.

Many use it as a quick pit stop.

Not all erased by time

Time doesn’t erase everything.

Over twelve hundred year old tracks can still be found in many places.
The clarity of settlements, burial sites and constructions in nature can surprise.
Much is seen as integrated in the landscape as if it has always been there
– It almost has that, apart from the seagull and the stylistic copy of the viking ship.

The white boat “only” have fifty year historic and still in use – so nearly brand new.

Something in the air

Only now I realize how much I miss my beloved black mountain bike
– which is at home back in Kaysersberg, waiting for new (photo) experiences.
The reminder was this old “garden gate” (danish slang for bikes over last sale day)
This one have waited so long time in an old shed owned by my old mum
– forgotten and hidden away while it waited for some experiences and fresh air too.

Teamwork

One single pigeon know well that alone it doesn’t get the special attention in a big city.
That is why they work together as a group, not because they are friends
– but because of that there will be more food to share.
Caught in Paris a few years ago – before assembly ban.

Something good

Something good to know, that the sunset still happens every evening.
Even there at the time being probably not so many sitting watching it.

No matter what so something good, we have to learn the hard way.
That we are aware of taking care of not only ourselves but others as well.

Re-imagine orange

Liverpool at night seen across river Mersey, photographed a few years ago.
Lots of people in the city have a never ending discussion
– whether the city is blue (Everton FC) or red (Liverpool FC).
They should re-imagine it – at night Liverpool is mostly orange.
