“The Maid of Orléans” (1412-30) aka Saint Joan of Arc – in french: Jeanne d’Arc
Statue à Place des Pyramides, Paris – a hot summer evening.
The organization United Nations calendar is full of special days
one might say that a key issue is first overlooked the day, it received official UN day
who remembers all day throughout the year earmarked a specific case
more than the very same day
ironically said perhaps only All Saints’ Day (Halliween) and Valentines Day
and they aren’t even official UN day at all, are they ..?
International Women’s Day
A very important issue distilled into one day, somewhat domesticated
where everyone is talking at once, and then shut up the rest of the year
maybe all the women who have either given up or accepted status quo
or chosen to act as male on the terms of male
please think longer than just one day.
Otherwise is the International Women’s Day already forgotten again tomorrow.
