After the day and after the rain – then the life comes to the city streets.
Opened my eyes when the day has died.
I turned the world and I slept allright.
So if you want to travel along with me.
You better sleep tight the rest of the day.
When my dreams begin.
I’ll be proud to letting you in.
With a smile on my face.
I guide your dreamboat in.
I’m sleeping my day away.

The inspiring theme this week “Night Photography“
Lights almost like suns in the night of french Strasbourg.
“Mama always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun.
But mama, that’s where the fun is”
*lines from the Bruce Springsteen song “Blinded by the light”
best known with Manfred Mann in their 1977 version*
Have to admit, not all wear only shorts in the february night of Strasbourg.
Contrasts found in many degrees and variations, especially in mountainous areas.
The powerful night lighting of the ski resorts
surrounded by the just as powerful black ‘reflex’ of the mountains.
This illusion of a giant scene might not be just as illusory – it’s time for after-skiing.
Venice by night, what a pity discovering this amazing city only in daylight.
The inspiration comes from “Restlessjo” and her “Monday walk” themes.
This is the romance of the darkness or at least in the shadows.
Life is a river flowing, always in motion and alive the way we choose.
Here it’s the idyllic Alsace in night light.
Daily prompt “Happy Endings“
“There is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stop the story”
*Frank Herbert – american science fiction author*
Lights in streets creates shadows and creates stories in our heads – in Strasbourg too.
Strasbourg by night.
“No one looks back their lives and remember the nights they got plenty of sleep”
Nights are too much underrated as a excellent source of inspiration.
