Ups and downs

Dizziness on the narrow footbridge.
Some get dizzy from looking up, others from looking down.

The Fier gorges are a remarkable natural curiosity in France:
a very narrow and deep gorge in Haute Savoie.
That can be visited thanks to a footbridge fixed to the side of the rock,
built in 1869 by the Annecy architect Marius Vallin.
This gorge was cut by the powerful Fier torrent in the town of Lovagny,
about eleven kilometers west of Annecy.

Walk inspired by “Restlessjo” and her captivating “Monday walk” themes.
