Perspective, a letter ‘P’ word

Perspective

The tell a letter-story challenge by idea of the good “frizztext
now the time has come to the letter “P”.

To see the perspective of something is essential
if you look at things without be perspective
then own prejudices are confirmed.

Reminds of the old talk about a bottle which is half full
if it is half-empty or half-full.

It does really matter from which end of the ladder the view is
or do it really
maybe there’s perspective from both ends..?

  1. indeed, that’s a philosophical question too: where is the end of a ladder. We should ask Kierkegaard, “Entweder / Oder” – in Germany is a saying “everything has ONE end, only a ladder has two!” (frei übersetzt und gesungen von frizztext: “Alles hat ein Ende nur die Wurst hat zwei!”)

  2. loved how you put it..it really is on which end you are in and how you take it..a ladder or a glass half full..perspective.. like Alphonse Karr said,Some people grumble that roses have thorns; I am grateful that thorns have roses. 🙂

Yes it takes a lot of effort to be objective – but maybe it’s really better to be aware of the fact that we are mostly subjective – and so be it in a subtle way – maybe it’s better than ‘believing’ you are objective – everything is colored of one’s attitudes – if you think your attitude is the truth and not your attitude then you have the difficulty to give space for others right to have a attitude themselves… 😉
