An ‘only one’ way to the former fishing hamlet Langør, or in english Langoer.
With the inspiration from Ailsa and her absolutly worth visting blog
“Wheresmybackpack“
this is my version of the travel theme this week “Minimalist“.
Around 25 houses broadly all owned by people living outside the island as relaxing houses
previously inhabited by either fishermen or sailing skippers
which with their own small schooners sailed many potatoes from the island to Norway.
Probably the sea gull waiting for the return of good old days..?
Beautiful calmness, Drake. Sometimes not crowded place with a lovely scenery around is all one needs to gain peace and probably finally find answers on the questions there had been on one’s mind, yet not heard properly before…

Very well said – or written – agree with you… 🙂
Was just watching some news reports on a big storm in England heading to other parts of Europe. Hopefully it won’t disturb the calm where you are, but it sounds like places you travel are getting it!
Be careful, Le Drake, and don’t go on a boat if the storm is where you are!

Strange weather in Europe these months – but don’t worry… 😀
I’ll try not to, but be careful! “lol” 😀
Always careful… 😉
Very interesting post!

So glad you said so… 😉
Love the perspective of that first photo Drake. The road pulls my eyes right into the image.

From some angles the village can look like a tiny island… 🙂
Great photo– does the sea ever cover the road during high tide?

Yes sometimes with the “right” (strong) wind direction… 🙂
Jeg får akut længsel efter det vidunderlige sted, Langør med omgivelser. Det er på tide med et gensyn ❤

Det er et pragtfuldt sted, masser af charme
– selvom det er en landsby med “10 huse og et fælles das”… 😀
